TrustComm and its subsidiary SkyPort Maritime, Inc. are a global broadband satellite, wireless, and terrestrial communications carrier providing Trusted Networks that are secure, reliable and rapidly deployable. MVS USA is a top Inmarsat BGAN Launch Distribution Partner, and Inmarsat’s Premier Broadband IT Partner. Together, TrustComm and MVS will offer the most advanced combined communication solution in the maritime industry integrating Inmarsat, VSAT, Wi-Fi, 3G, and Iridium communication solutions into their clients’ vessel and office operations.

An innovative alliance will be formed between TrustComm’s subsidiary SkyPort Maritime and MVS to create a unified distribution channel for the combined maritime solution. The unified approach means maritime customers will have an incomparable single point of contact to obtain a complete suite of communication solutions and network services that have already been engineered and tested to work together seamlessly. TrustComm will also provide this unique solution to its energy, enterprise, and government customers.

Due to the acquisition of an international maritime communication company in 2010, TrustComm formed the subsidiary, SkyPort Maritime to focus on providing innovative communication solutions for vessel operators. In August of last year, TrustComm announced that MVS would be its exclusive Inmarsat provider in expanding TrustComm’s offering to maritime, energy, and government customers. The two companies then initiated a direct fiber interconnect with Abovenet between the TrustComm Network Center and the MVS international gateway located in New York and Amsterdam. This allows both organizations to provided enhanced real-time network support and management solutions for our joint customers.
